The Short Version

You give us your name, email, and store URL. We use that to send you what you asked for and follow up about your DTC strategy. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone except the tools we need to deliver the service. If you want out, tell us and we'll delete everything.

Echelon Commerce is operated by Faisal Hourani from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This policy covers echeloncommerce.com and any services provided through it.

What We Collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect:

Your name -- so we know who we're talking to.

Your email address -- so we can send you the scorecard, report, or follow-up.

Your store URL -- so we can look at your store before reaching out. Can't help with DTC readiness if we don't know the store.

We don't collect payment information on this site. We don't use tracking cookies. We don't run retargeting pixels.

How We Use It

Your information is used to:

Send you whatever you requested (scorecard, audit, report).

Follow up via email about your marketplace independence strategy.

Improve our understanding of what DTC brands in Malaysia and Singapore need.

We will not send you unrelated marketing. Every email from us will be about your DTC channel, Shopify store, or marketplace strategy -- the thing you came here for.

Who Sees Your Data

Only Faisal and the Echelon Commerce team. We use Cloudflare for hosting and email delivery. Your data passes through their infrastructure to reach us. We don't share your information with any other third party, period.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your data for as long as we have a business reason to -- which usually means as long as you're a potential or active client. If you ask us to delete it, we will, within 7 business days.

Your Rights (PDPA Malaysia and Singapore)

Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have the right to:

Access -- Ask what data we hold on you. We'll tell you.

Correction -- If something's wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

Withdrawal -- Change your mind about us contacting you. One email to faisal@echeloncommerce.com and we stop.

Deletion -- Ask us to delete your data entirely. We will.

Opt-Out

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option. You can also email faisal@echeloncommerce.com directly with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. We process opt-outs immediately -- not in "up to 10 business days." Immediately.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies. No analytics cookies, no tracking cookies, no consent banner needed. If that changes in the future, we'll update this page and be equally direct about it.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when we last made changes. We're not going to email you every time we fix a typo, but anything material -- you'll know.
